Jessie Arms Botke, a graduate of The Art Institute Chicago and future California painter was one of the most celebrated decorative painters of the twentieth century. As an art director I was able over several years to locate and create reproductions of her work as posters. This image belonged to a couple who lost their home and this painting from there collections in the OaklandCalifornia Wild Fire of 1991 . The poster is printed on a heavy weight satin paper stock with a decorative 1/4 inch gold rule around the image area. Poster size: 33 x 40 inches. Image area: 28 x 35 inches. This print does have some yellow foxing spots in the top white border and some smudges on the white paper sides. The image itself is in excellent condition and the flaws can be matted over when framed or cropped.
