From a series of “Kiss” posters I art directed and shot with then San Diego photographer Aaron Chang. Kalapana Black Sand Beach was shot on the big island, Hawaii unfortunately just a few days before the tiny town and beach were forever covered in a lava flow………indeed we ran into the same flow as we attempted to drive to the other side of the island for another shoot.
